Mexico has been terrific, inexpensive, colourful, clean and fairly safe really, I mean lets face it, the police have machine guns and some with riot gear…which I must say is fairly comfortable.
There were an array of markets in amongst all the side sidestreets that seem endless, and sell all kinds of weird products are sold! One lady was selling 1970's style TV antennas, holding about 50 under her arm (I only bought bought 7, trying to give up). There were also many buskers on the trains and buses, and kids selling DVDs and CDs on the subway, playing them as loud as possible on their portable stereos, downing out any possible opportunity of serenity of course.
The stadium atmosphere was simply awesome, and what's more, the service is brilliant! You dont need to get up for anything, they serve you beer, pizza, ice cream, fruit salad, corn, tacos...pretty much anything except quinoa and kale, right to your seat!
Next stop, San Francisco!. Looking forward to strolling around those hills, and scouting out those Dirty Harry scenes!
